LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After weeks of rumors circulating around the entertainment world, Britney Spears has reportedly cancelled her “secret” return to live performing.
Spears was reportedly due to hit the stage on Wednesday, May 2, at the House of Blues Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, under the name The M+M’s, but cancelled for an unknown reason, according to MSNBC.
The show would have been Spears’ first live appearance following a difficult period that included the breakdown of her marriage, a stint in rehab, and her infamous head-shaving incident.
The comeback show, complete with stage props and back-up dancers, was rumored to feature songs from the singer’s forthcoming fifth album, which she’s been recording with Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beats and Dr. Luke. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
