John Pantle Named Vice President Concerts At APA

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The Agency for the Performing Arts has promoted veteran agent John Pantle to vice president of its concerts department, according to a story broken by Billboard.

Pantle joined APA's Los Angeles offices in 2009 after a stint at UTA where he was a senior agent in the music department. Before joining UTA, he handled both national and international tours at the Agency Group.

Pantle has also worked as a talent buyer, including serving as national booking director for the Knitting Factory venues in both New York and Los Angeles, where he oversaw the expansion of both venues as well as all marketing operations. He got his start in the industry as a talent buyer at the Los Angeles House of Blues and later became head of development for the HOB Club Network.

Pantle's client roster includes Run-D.M.C., Public Enemy, Ritmo Machine, Molotov and Café Tacuba among others.

“John is an integral part of our team who has done a tremendous job expanding and servicing our roster of artists and live-experience events,” APA president and CEO Jim Gosnell said in a statement.

“His dedication, track record and passion speak volumes and I’m very pleased to acknowledge his hard work and success with this promotion.” – Staff Writers
