House of Blues Entertainment has appointed Elyse Rogers senior manager of touring and finance. Her responsibilities will entail development, execution and financial management of national tours. Recently, HoB produced several national tours including the Mindy Smith Tour, Maybelline New York "Chicks With Attitude" Tour, Coors Light Rock Prendido Tour, Kill Kitty (Chang Cheng-Yue) Tour, Verizon Wireless Presents Jet and several Jim Beam Live Concerts Series tours featuring Hoobastank, Maroon 5, Deftones and Gavin DeGraw.
Rogers, a multi-faceted industryite, began managing bands while obtaining a political science degree at UC Berkeley. After graduating in 1993, she managed acts with Kevin Morrow, currently senior vice president of entertainment for House of Blues. After two years at Goldenvoice, Rogers founded her own company, Civilized Artist Management. She received her MBA at USC in 2002 and managed investment portfolios at Merrill Lynch while continuing to provide personal and business management for her clients.
