(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — International indie-rockers Snow Patrol were the big winners in Ireland’s top music honors, picking up accolades for best Irish band and album at The Meteor Ireland Music Awards on Thursday.
Morrissey beat Eminem, Usher and Robbie Williams for best international male, and PJ Harvey upped Kyllie Minogue, Joss Stone, Anastacia and Natasha Bedingfield for best international female.
Franz Ferdinand picked up best international band and album. Paddy Casey won the award for best Irish male, and Juliette Turner won best Irish female.
