(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Blues fans came from all across north Texas to participate in the 12th Annual Stevie Ray Vaughan Remembrance Ride & Concert, the proceeds of which went to benefit a scholarship fund that has been established in Vaughan's name.
The parade, featuring over a thousand motorcycles, started from the west side of Dallas and proceeded to Cowboys, a club in Arlington, TX. Proceeds from the run were given to students attending the Grenier magnet school which focuses on music. The school is located in the same neighborhood where Stevie spent his childhood. To date, the fund has provided over 150 scholarships to students at Grenier.
