ROME, Italy (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music Italy has named live music impresario Clemente Zard to the top post at Vivo Concerti, its Italian live events company.
Assuming the post of Managing Director, Zard will start in September, replacing outgoing Managing Director/company founder
Formerly a managing director for Saludo Italia, one of the leading production and promotion companies in the musical and family entertainment business, Zard has promoted shows with international artists throughout Italy.
Owned by Warner Music Italy, Vivo Concerti provides booking and promotion services to both international and local artists. Outgoing Managing Director Corrado Rizzotto developed Vivo Concerti into a major player in the Italian market for international and local artists.
In recent years, the company has produced tours for artists such as Radiohead, Florence and the Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Sigur Ros, Franz Ferdinand and Subsonica, as well as working with Warner Music artists including Muse, Linkin Park, Paolo Nutini, Bruno Mars, The Black Keys and David Guetta.
The move marks the second shift in Warners live business in Europe in recent weeks, following last week's announcement that they had sold French concert company Nous Productions to Live Nation. – Staff Writers
