Veteran talent manager Brad Grey is poised to be named head of Paramount Pictures, replacing Sherry Lansing who is retiring when her contract expires at the end of 2005.
If Grey accepts the position, which he is expected to do, he will have to divest himself of his Brillstein-Grey talent management company, where his clients include Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler and Bill Maher. He is expected to sell the company to Marc Gurvitz and Cycnthia Pett-Dante, his longtime collaborators and company co-presidents.
