VANCOUVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Terry McBride, CEO of Nettwerk Music Group put the kibosh on rumors that the company was for sale in a recent interview with Billboard.biz.

McBride went on to talk about his interest in Yoga, telling Billboard.biz that he's invested in a chain of yoga studios and hopes to release some albums with yoga music.

McBride also shed some light his recent split with his former client Avril Lavigne. According to Billboard, the two remain on good terms and that he allowed Lavigne to split and that the two reached an undisclosed financial agreement over the departure. He went on to say that Lavigne is still using Nettwerk for merchandising.

McBride also took the opportunity to talk about his recent controversial comments about former Barenaked Ladies singer Steve Page's role in the band's key singles. McBride said his remarks were taken out of context.

"I was just trying to explain the band would continue," he told Billboard. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
