You Say Party! We Say Die! Changes Name Following Drummer's Death

ABBOTSFORD, BC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The 5-member Canadian dance-punk band formerly known as You Say Party! We Say Die! has decided to rename themselves to just You Say Party in the wake of the death of the band's drummer Devon Clifford. Clifford collapsed on stage during an April 16th performance and subsequently died after suffering a sudden brain hemorrhage.

The band's announcement also noted that keyboardist Krista Loewen had decided to leave the band as well. New additions to the lineup includes Robert Andow on keyboards and Bobby Siadat on drums, both formerly members of the band Gang Violence.

The band is currently working to reschedule the European tour that was cancelled following Clifford's death. Additionally, they will play select shows for the rest of 2010. Their third album, "XXXX", was released last September and made the long list for the 2010 Polar Music Awards. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
