PRISHTINA, Kosovo (CelebrityAccess) The first official international match at Kosovo’s renovated Fadil Vokrri Stadium took place Sept. 10.
The stadium is named in memory of the late Football Federation of Kosovo president. The 12,810-capacity arena will be used by local club FC Prishtina for domestic and international competition matches, according to Pan Stadia.
“To witness this day we needed to invest a lot, and do much work,” Kosovo President Agim Ademi said. “We all feel excited about it. From now on, Kosovo’s fans will have a modern football temple, proud to bear the name of our legendary former president.”
