(CelebrityAccess Media Wire) — UK trio Muse has cancelled some dates on its US tour due to singer Matt Bellamy injuring himself during the group's April 9 concert in Atlanta at the Cotton Club.
Bellamy reportedly smashed his face into his guitar and was immediately taken to the hospital for stitches. According to the band's web site, shows appear to be canceled on a day-to-day basis, including their April 12 show in Philadelphia at The Kyber.
"Shows are unfortunately on temporary hold,” their Web site informed. “The band are obviously very disappointed but looking forward to carrying on their new tour of the States as soon as possible."
