Betsy Berg To APA

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Agent Betsy Berg has joined the Agency for the Performing Arts as a Senior Vice President in the speakers and lecturers division, according to a story first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Berg represents a roster that includes both actors such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Al Pacino, as well as musicians such as LL Cool J and Alice Cooper.

Prior to joining APA helmed the speakers division for The Agency Group. She also spent an 18-year stint at the William Morris Agency, serving most recently as the head of the agency's lectures department before leaving in 2009 to oversee the launch of ICM's speaker division. While at ICM, Berg also oversaw the agency's stake in the American Program Bureau along with APB chairman-CEO Robert P. Walker.

“Betsy is one of the most respected agents in the business,” APA president and CEO Jim Gosnell said in a statement. “She’s an incredible addition to our New York team, and I look forward to her helping us continue our agency’s growth and expansion.” – Staff Writers
