LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Leading independent label Glassnote has entered into a global partnership with Kobalt’s AWAL, reports MBW.
The new agreement will see Glassnote leaving its current distribution arrangement with Universal Music Group to instead work with Kobalt and AWAL across its marketing, radio promotion, digital and physical distribution channels, and data analytics platform.
Commenting on the new alliance, Glassnote President & Founder Daniel Glass said: “It is truly a landmark day in the music industry and for the future of Glassnote as this progressive alliance and relationship with Kobalt becomes a reality. Glassnote’s roster currently includes the likes of Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, CHVRCHES, Childish Gambino, The Strumbellas and Jade Bird, while AWAL currently works with artists such as Lauv, Rex Orange County, Tom Misch, R3HAB, Deadmau5, Freya Ridings, The Wombats, Bruno Major, and more.
