Frank Barsalona was the surprise roastee on March 10 at Baladaria, an Italian restaurant on West 49th
Street in New York, as a prelude to his March 11 Nordoff-Robbins tribute at Roseland. With
about 75 people invited, the intimate evening was described as being "in the warmest, highest
regard for an esteemed member of the music industry," an attendee told CelebrityAccess.
Larry and Mickey Magid were the host and hostess of the evening. Larry served as emcee. Roasters included: Irv Zuckerman, Donald K. Donald, Herbie Herbert, Don Law, Ron Delsener, Barry Fey, Danny Zelisko, Doc McGhee, Peter
Wolfe and Gregg Perloff.
In attendance were Barbara
Skydel, John Scher, Arny Granat, Jerry Mickelson, Jane Rose, Shelley Lazar,
Michael Klenfner, Stan Feig, Larry Vaughan, Tony Ruffino, Jules Belkin, Steve

Seijiro Udo of Udo Artists, Japan.
