Leif Skov Resigns From Roskilde

In a surprising move, Roskilde festival organizer Leif Skov has resigned. In a posting on the festival website, it says:

"Today, member of the board of directors in the Roskilde Charity Society
and member of the management of the Roskilde Festival, manager/festival
organizer Leif Skov, has resigned. During a number of years, Leif Skov has been working in various committees and boards of directors within the music and cultural business, both due to his knowledge, experience, and network and as a
representative for the Roskilde Charity Society and Roskilde Festival. "It is the intention that Leif Skov will continue to use his energy in the music and cultural business."

It was signed by festival chairman Dan
Hacke.

Bands confirmed for this year's music event, June 27-30, include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Garbage, Rammstein, Steve Earle & The Dukes, The Savage Rose, The Chemical Brothers, Spiritualized, Antipop Consortium, Kaizers Orchestra, Millencolin, Him and Saybia.
