BRISBANE, Australia (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — BIGSOUND 2010, Australia’s biggest annual music industry event and festival, has added more than 40 speakers from around the globe to this year's conference line-up.

Staged in Brisbane from September 8-10, BIGSOUND 2010 will include three days of panels and workshops highlighting some big names in the international music industry.

Additionally, BIGSOUND Live will serve as the public festival component of the event, which will feature 60 Australian acts across two nights and six venues.

Acts include Children Collide, The Vasco Era, Boy & Bear, The John Steel Singers, Parades, Ernest Ellis, The Gin Club, Last Dinosaurs, Bridezilla, and The Jezabels.

Australian born, New York based producer Victor Van Vugt will speak at the event. Vugt's credits include records from Nick Cave, Beth Orton, PJ Harvey, Athlete and Sarah Blasko.

Flying in from the UK will be Colin Roberts, who is frontline artist manager with the UK’s Big Life Management, responsible for La Roux, Klaxons and Richard Ashcroft.

Brett Williams from boutique US management company Monotone Management will also join. Monotone is home to the likes of The White Stripes, Dead Weather, The Shins and Vampire Weekend.

Also heading to Brisbane from the USA will be President of Bug Music, David Hirshland, who oversees the operations of the independent publishing administration company’s five worldwide offices.
