PHILADELPHIA, PA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Charlatans have been forced to call off their current US tour following a medical emergency.
The northern indie veterans were in the middle of a show at Philadephia's Jonny Brenda's venue on September 15th when drummer Jon Brookes collapsed onstage according to NME.
Brookes is said to be in a comfortable condition, but was flown back to the UK for further treatment. As a result, the US dates have been postponed.
A spokesperson for the band said in a statement: "The Charlatans are very upset at not being able to continue the tour but hope to reschedule the dates as soon as possible," according to the band's site. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
