LÄRZ, Mecklenburg (CelebrityAccess) — Fusion Festival, a four day music and arts festival held in Lärz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will be on hiatus in 2017 as the events organizers take what they describe as a 'creative break.'
Martin Eulenhaupt, head of festival organizer Kulturkosmos Müritz told German newspaper Nordkurier that organizers hoped to use the year pause for the festival to "reinvent itself" and to implement structural changes to the event.
The festival, which has been held annually since 1997, takes place on a former military airfield in Lärz near the Müritz.
This year's festival, which took place from June 29th through July 3rd, has been sold out since December. The event has an EDM-focused lineup with an avant garde ethic, featuring a bill which includes Career Girls, Born in Flamez, Ancient Mith, Agents of Time, Basskateers, Egoless, The Third Room and Funky Dragon. – Staff Writers
