BUFFALO, N.Y (CelebrityAccess) — About half of the stagehands who helped to produce last month's Rolling Stones concert in Orchard Park are still waiting to be paid after their paychecks bounced.
According to the Associated Press, Officials with Local 10 of the International Association of Theater and Stage Engineers said paychecks sent to approximately 100 union members bounced after the show.
AEG Live, promoter for the show, told the Associated Press that the checks bounced after the Long Island payroll company they had contracted with had its bank accounts frozen. However, a federal judge has since unfrozen the accounts, allowing the payroll issue to be settled.
New checks are expected to be cut Thursday and AEG is actively working to resolve the issue. – Staff Writers
