The Polyphonic Spree Sets Holiday Show For Dallas and LA

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – The Polyphonic Spree will celebrate the holidays with two benefit Christmas shows in their hometown of Dallas on December 19-20 at the Lakewood Theater, followed by a New Year's Eve performance at the Wiltern LG in Los Angeles with co-headliners Grandaddy. The Polyphonic Spree, the 23-piece choral symphonic pop band, will host, along with Good Records, their 4th Annual Holiday Celebration benefit concert at the Lakewood Theater. The shows will benefit Toys For Tots.

"Last year's holiday extravaganza was such a success, that we've decided to add a second night," says Polyphonic Spree lead vocalist Tim DeLaughter.

In addition to the Spree's holiday-themed set, the concerts will feature performances by the band's Hollywood label mate Patrick Park, Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, Syncopated Ladies, Celebration Ringers, Shibboleth and Spread A Little Love Soundsystem.

On December 31, The Polyphonic Spree and Grandaddy will welcome the new year, along with Corn Mo, Virgil Shaw and Dios, at The Wiltern LG in Los Angeles. The event will include circus performers, a taco truck with special Polyphonic Spree and Grandaddy-themed tacos, leis, noisemakers, and other party favors, a champagne toast with both headliners at midnight, and a second stage in venue's lobby featuring continuous music and other festivities, as well as surprise special guests. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
