BERGEN, Norway (CelebrityAccess) — Norwegian black metal band Taake announced that they have been forced to postpone their planned tour of the U.S. after running into unforeseen headwinds with U.S. immigration officials.
In a post on the band's Facebook page, a rep wrote:
"We are sorry to have inform you that the upcoming Taake US tour has been postponed. This is due to an unforeseen and serious issue with Taake's visa status. Immigration specialists are working to correct the matter as quickly as possible. We are doing our best to save the scheduled NYC shows and on re-scheduling the rest of the tour."
Taake was prepping for a 13-show outing with dates primarily in the northeastern U.S. and Canada with American blackened sludge metal group Wolvhammer. – Staff Writers
