OKLAHOMA (CelebrityAccess) Turnpike Troubadours say they are canceling a series of November performances because of a “situation that needs our complete attention.”
The band posted a notice on Facebook and Twitter that a concern requires the act to put its performances on hold through Nov. 29. Whatever the situation, the band noted that it not only holds its individual members as family but also its fans and “road crew” and “business team.”
“There have been many discussions on what to say publicly,” the band said, “and it’s our unanimous opinion that our fans are our family, and there is no need to sugar coat anything.
The “family member” apparently has “issues with which he is struggling.”
The band canceled some dates in August while on tour with MIranda Lambert and Little Big Town because of “family emergencies” plus another performance at the Fayetteville Roots Festival because frontman Evan Felker had a kidney stone. Felker and Lambert were reportedly dating around that time.
