MONTCLAIR, NJ (CelebrityAccess) — Jazz House Kids, an educational program for future jazz musicians, announced the lineup for the 10th anniversary of the Montclair Jazz Festival.
The fest will take place over two weekends from July 26 through August 10 and feature more than 250 jazz musicians, 30 musical acts, two main stages, 7 venues, and 20 concerts and events.
Headliners for 2019 include Bettye LaVette, Joey DeFrancesco, Mark Whitfield, Christian McBride, Eddie Palmieri, Mike Lee, JAZZ HOUSE Collective, as well as more than 125 rising artists from around the world who attend the Jazz House Summer Workshop.
The festival will officially kick off on July 26th with the 3rd Annual DJ Brother Mister Old School Funk + Soul Dance Party. Other concerts and events for the festival will take place at locations around Montclair that include the Montclair Social Club, Nishuane Park, The Montclair Brewery, and the Montclair Center.
The festival is produced by Jazz House Kids with sponsorship from The Bravitas Group/Silver Family Foundation.
