LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ticket sales for the forthcoming Madonna tour have continued to be brisk, leading the tour's producer Live Nation to add some dates.
Heavy demand for tickets to Madonna's September 20th Paris show led to a second performance being announced for September 21st. The August 30th Zurich show at the Military Airfield Dubendorf has just glided past the 70,000 mark as Madonna fans buy tickets in record breaking numbers and in Vancouver, where Madonna's October 30th performance sold 50,000 tickets in a record breaking 29 minutes.
Additional shows have been added after rapid sellouts in Toronto on October 19th and Montreal on October 23rd.
These new dates add to a list of sellouts that already include three sold out Madison Square Garden shows in New York City on October 6, 7 and 11 and sellouts in Boston and Chicago where a second show October 27th at the United Center will go on sale on June 2nd.
