With the blessing of County Meath Council after months of debate, U2 was granted a second show at Slane Castle on Sept. 1. Tickets for the 80,000-seat venue went clean in only 94 minutes after going on sale July 9. Their first show is Aug. 25. No other band has been allowed to perform two shows at the Castle.
