LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — DJ/producer Kayzo took a few moments off of celebrating the release of his debut album “Overload” to sign with global talent agency WME.
Known for his versatile sound and catalogue of original productions, collaborations and remixes, the Los Angeles-based Kayzo, whose real name is Hayden Capuozzo, scored a major hit when “Wake Up” his collaboration with RIOT generated more than 200,000 plays in 24 hours.
In January, Kayzo released “Overlord” via his own recording label imprint, Welcome Records and he’s been on the road supporting the release with a tour since then.
He is also slated to perform at top festivals this year such as the Bonnaroo Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and Tomorrowland.
He started his career as a performer in 2012, when he was chosen as the winner of Insomniac’s “Discovery Project” challenge, securing a spot on the lineup at the EDM promoter’s Escape from Wonderland festival, his first professional DJ gig.
Since then, he’s been a prolific remixer, working with a who’s who of modern EDM, including collabs with Skrillex, DJ Snake, Nero, Knife Party and Calvin Harris.
