LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran talent agent John Pantle has joined the newly-minted Sound Talent Group, according to a report by Billboard.
Pantle, who amicably left his longtime position at APA in early November, will join STG’s team, which already includes former UTA agents Dave Shapiro, Tim Borror, Matt Anderson, who founded the agency, as well as Beth Keith, and Eric Powell.
Pantle served as Vice Presidents of Concerts at APA since 2015, but joined the company in 2009, after a stint at UTA where he was a senior agent in the music department.
Prior to APA, Pantle handled both national and international tours at the Agency Group.
“We’ve got the tools to continue our missions with each artist. We’re sleek. We’re hungry. We’re ready,” Pantle told Billboard, speaking about his new position.
Sound Talent Group’s roster includes Corrosion Of Conformity, Gwar, Sum 41, Trivium, Silverstein, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, and Clutch among numerous others.
