MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Lil Pump was removed from a flight in Miami and arrested for disorderly conduct in the airport after he and his manager engaged in a heated confrontation with the pilot and TSA officials.
According to TMZ, Florida-born rapper, whose birth name is Gazzy Garcia, was accused of attempting to bring marijuana on board an airplane by baggage handlers and the pilot after they claim to have detected an odor from the drugs emanating from a bag suspected to belong to Pump.
Pump denied having any contraband in his bag, and engaged in a verbal dispute with the pilot, resulting in both Pump and his manager being booted from the plane.
When they continued to argue their side of the case back in the terminal, they were arrested by airport police, TMZ reported.
Despite their arrests, no drugs were found in the bag upon inspection. The bag didn’t belong to Pump, but rather a member of his team.
It is unclear if Lil Pump is still in custody. The Dade County Police department does not currently list him as an inmate.
