LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Ciara has announced that she was recently accepted to Harvard.
The singer, songwriter and all-around boss lady will be attending the prestigious Ivy League school’s Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program, which according to the University’s website closely examines “why some creative businesses thrive while others fail to survive,” and teaches students “when to make smaller versus blockbuster bets, the best way to capitalize on market disruptions, and how to establish long-term competitive advantage.”
Ciara, who also recently released her seventh studio album, Beauty Marks––the singer’s first under her brand new company, Beauty Marks Entertainment––took to Instagram, wearing a Harvard sweater, to share the news. “I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” she wrote. “This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!”
