LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter John Legend is certainly not afraid to share his views on President Trump.
In a brief exchange with a TMZ reporter on Tuesday as he was leaving Peppermint nightclub in Hollywood, the pulled no punches, called Trump a “flaming racist,” a “piece of s***’ and an “evil canker sore on America’s landscape.”
“We need to get him out of office,” Legend added.
Legend appeared to be incensed at recent tweets made by the president while attacking House Judiciary Chairman Elijah Cummings, who has become a powerful political opponent of the president.
In the tweet, Trump described Baltimore, which Cummings represents, and which is majority African American, as “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”
