(CelebrityAccess) — Beverage maker and lifestyle brand Red Bull announced its music festival plans for 2019, including the return of Red Bull Music Festival Chicago, and the inaugural Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta for later this year.
Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta, which will debut Nov 1st – Nov. 15th, features a diverse lineup of international artists and local music flavor. Performers lined up for the event include Teyana Taylor, who brings her ‘House of Petunia’ performance to Atlanta and Ari Lennox in a special headline performance.
Atlanta’s locally sourced Trap sound will also be on display, with Shawty Redd, Zaytoven and Lex Luger holding a panel discussion about the musical style. As well, 22-yearold Atlanta rapper Yung Baby Tate is also lined up to perform at the festival.
For wrestling fans, Denzel Curry’s alter ego Zeltron will return to the wrestling wring to face rapper Joey Bada$$.
Red Bull Music Festival Chicago will take place from Nov. 17th – Nov. 30th and will feature performances from hometown heroe Lupe Fiasco and Whack Factory’s Tierra Whack performing her first show in Chicago.
Chicago-based artist Theaster Gates will curate the Black Monastic at Garfield Park Conservatory and Chicago poet and rapper Jamila Woods will perform material from her latest album Legacy! Legacy!
Smino, Monte Booker and more from the Zero Fatigue crew are slated to take the stage for a collaborative group performance, and legendary Chi-town record store Gramaphone will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an event at Metro / smartbar.
