(CelebrityAccess) — Virgin Music Group has tapped veteran dealmaker Mark Robinson to the newly-created role of Executive Vice President, Global Business and Legal Affairs.
In his new post, Robinson will be tasked with overseeing the company’s global business affairs and corporate strategy and will join the label group’s senior leadership team.
He joins Virgin Music Group from Paramount Global, where he oversaw music business affairs and legal strategy for Paramount brands including MTV, CBS, BET, Nickelodeon, CMT, Showtime, and Paramount+. His resume also includes past roles as General Counsel and Partner, Business & Legal Affairs at 300 Entertainment and a similar role at BMG North America.
Additionally, Robinson spent almost a decade in Business Affairs roles at Warner Music Group.
