(CelebrityAccess) — Los Angeles DJ/Producer Getter has canceled the remainder of his current tour and vowed not to tour again after facing criticism from his fans about the new artistic direction for his most recent album Visceral.
Getter, whose real name is Tanner Petulla, made a name for himself with heavy beats and drops as a dubstep DJ/Producer, but his most recent album Visceral (2018) took a different approach, skewing towards the ambient end of the EDM spectrum.
While Visceral proved to be a hit with critics, some fans have lodged protests. As EDM.com noted, he was heckled during a live performance at Stereo Live earlier this month. As well, the abuse continued on social media, with fans complaining about his live performances failing to live up to expectations.
By late Wednesday, Getter decided that he had had enough and took to Twitter to announce his former fans had ‘won’ and that he was canceling the rest of the tour.

The tour was scheduled for nine additional dates, including shows in Boston, Chicago, and Montreal, but his itinerary now just includes his performances at Lollapalooza in Paris and the Gridlife festival in Michigan.
