LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Eight people were injured by a collapsing camera boom at a Steve Aoki concert in Los Angeles over the weekend.
According to LA Weekly, the boom collapsed after an individual jumped up and grabbed it. Three people were hospitalized but fire officials characterized all of the injuries as minor.
The concert was organized by the office of Mayor Eric Garcetti, and the city closed Broadway between Fourth and Sixth streets for the free event, the LA Weekly said.
Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott told the LA Weekly that there were about 4,300 people in attendance. – Staff Writers
