LOS ANGELES (VIP-NEWS) — Live Nation Entertainment has announced that Alan Rakov has been promoted to chief strategy officer of United States concerts (USC).
In his new position, Rakov will work with USC leadership to expand upon, determine, and initiate new strategies and processes to enhance the division`s performance.
In his former job at Live Nation, he was former president of revenue management, launching programs such as Platinum, Value Channels, and Dynamic Pricing.
Prior to joining Live Nation, Rakov was a professional violinist who worked for the Honolulu Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Hollywood Bowl. He also led Ticketmaster`s TicketExchange and was general manager of Ticketmaster, Northern California and Nevada.
