Brandon Frankel Exits Paradigm To Launch Contra Inc.

LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Brandon R. Frankel, Paradigm’s SVP Brand Partnerships & Creators Initiative announced that he was exiting the talent agency to launch his own multi-faceted consulting firm Contra Inc.

The company will handle brand partnerships, talent representation, brand consulting, event and experiential production, as well as a variety of public relations consulting endeavors.

“Though the decision to leave Paradigm and start my own shop wasn’t an easy one, I really enjoyed the new business I helped start at the company. I want to focus more on expanding and growing the representation of brands and talent outside traditional TV, Film, and Music…and focus on content creators, digitally native talent, graphic and street artists, designers, and more,” said Frankel.

Said roster includes clients Frankel amassed at Paradigm such as social media personalities Kristen Hancher and Matt Cutshall, street artists Kai and Plastic Jesus, and “Deadly Sins” creator Darren Kavinok among others.

Additionally, Contra Inc. will be announcing several new employees, partnerships, and joint ventures in the coming weeks and months, the first being an alliance with Japanese-based “andtokyo” agency, who work closely with various corporate clients to develop experiential and digital content. Clients include Toyota LEXUS, Red Bull, VICE JAPAN, Corona, Reebok, Shisheido, Remy Martin, Creativeman, Cartier Japan, StarFes14 and more, the company said.

Frankel joined Paradigm as Senior Vice President of Brand Partners earlier this year as a part of the Windish merger. His prior experience includes stints at Windish and CAA.
