plaza among other uses.
Elbe Philharmonic Hall is scheduled to be finished in 2012 and will serve as a unique venue for classical music, jazz, pop and world music.
Swiss architects, Herzog + de Meuron’s creation renovates an old historic brick shipping warehouse which was once used to store cocoa, tea and tobacco from 1966 to the 1990s, with a larger structure covered in glass. After sitting empty for over a decade, the renovations and additions will provide the German city with a useful cultural structure. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
