Hollywood icon Jack Valenti, president/CEO of the Motion Picture Association of
America, will receive the Hollywood Film Festival's "Hollywood Leadership Award"
as part of the Hollywood Movie Awards Gala Ceremony on October 7 at the
Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Hollywood Film Festival
incorporates in its activities the "Hollywood Film Conference," "Hollywood Film
Screenings," "Hollywood Movie
Awards," and the "Hollywood Humanitarian Symposium."
"Mr. Valenti's proven achievements as a leader in the movie
industry exemplify excellence. Undoubtedly, his outstanding vision has earned him a
prominent place in Hollywood's
history," said Carlos de Abreu, executive director of the festival.
