Jeff Schroeder Named VP Of Direct Marketing and Research at Live Nation

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation, a leading live event and venue management company, announced today the appointment of Jeff Schroeder to the position of Executive Vice President, Direct Marketing and Research at the company.

Reporting to Live Nation’s President of Music, Charlie Walker, Mr. Schroeder will spearhead the company’s customer relationship strategy throughout Live Nation’s vertically integrated distribution network. While continuing to increase the size and integrity of the consumer database, Mr. Schroeder will develop innovative software products and research tools for Live Nation's consumer database and email marketing activities, and execute a wide range of marketing efforts that seek to monetize the connections between fans and artists.

"One of our greatest assets at Live Nation is the information we get directly from our customers," said Mr. Walker. "Jeff and his team have been able to refine this information into a highly valuable customer database which can be used for artist marketing efforts on all of our tours, for gathering cost-effective research on fan preferences, ticket pricing and overall customer experience satisfaction. Jeff’s contributions to the company over the years have been substantial and we are pleased to be able to promote him to this very important new role."

"Live Nation is committed to delivering the best live experience to each and every one of our customers," said Mr. Schroeder. "Through extensive research and intelligent direct marketing, we are developing a one-to-one relationship with our customer that will help us deliver on this promise."

Mr. Schroeder, a recent Masters Degree graduate from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, began his career in concert promotion in 2000 as the Director of Web Development for SFX, eventually moving up to the position of Vice President of Digital Marketing, leading all new media initiatives for the company. He most recently served as Vice President of Direct Marketing. He will continue to be based in Live Nation’s Los Angeles headquarters. – CelebrityAccess staff writers
