LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation is teaming up with the U.S. Army to produce a web series about a pair of U.S. Army Reserve soldiers who are on the road, touring with the band OneRepublic.
Dubbed "Tour Ops: the Tech Behind Rock on the Road", the six part video series will spotlight Capt. Andrew Freinberg and Capt. Moises Abraham Cruz as they serve as crew members in an active production setting during a tour. In each episode, Freinberg and Cruz are on site collaborating with OneRepublic's crew members and becoming familiarized with the technical and structural elements of what happens backstage and as part of the concert performance.
The video series is designed to promote awareness of the Army's science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) training and how it can be applied in the civilian world.
"Capts. Cruz and Freinberg are great examples of how the Army is constantly evolving to provide unmatched training in a variety of cutting-edge skills," said U.S. Army Marketing & Research Group Active Army Brand Manager LTC. Karl S. Ivey. "The success they have achieved highlights the diversity of experience soldiers gain that is highly sought after in the civilian world."
The series goes live on LiveNation.com on Sept 19th. – Staff Writers
