(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Along with the personnel changes at the Live Nation Houston office, recently reported by CelebrityAccess, it appears that CEO Michael Rapino is undoing a trend he helped to initiate in the past two years at Clear Channel Entertainment.
The heritage names brought back to the local divisions at CCE over the past two year, including Belkin Productions, Cellar Door, Pace Concerts, and Ritual Presents, are disappearing in favor of using the Live Nation brand name for each office.
Over the past few months, the company has also closed offices in Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Virginia Beach, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Birmingham and Minneapolis.
Live Nation Cleveland will take over operations for Ritual Presents’ Cincinnati office, including the Pittsburgh area, and has also renamed Ritual’s Detroit office as Live Nation Detroit.
Despite switching the names of most national offices to the Live Nation mark, the global touring division under Arthur Fogel will continue operating under the name The Next Adventure. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
