LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Pink Floyd's Nick Mason dashed the hopes of many of the group's fans when he said the band won't be performing live again as David Gilmour doesn't want to tour.
While appearing at the Q Awards on Oct. 22nd, Mason told BANG Showbiz: "I would do it but Dave doesn't want to. So no there are no plans for any shows."
Mason and Gilmour teamed up earlier this year for 'The Endless River' the fifteenth studio album from the group. The album, set for release on November 7th, will feature primarily ambient/atmosphereic music.
The album also features material recorded with keyboardist Rick Wright, who passed in 2008 and has been described as Wright's "Swan Song."
The album has also become the most pre-ordered release in 2014 on Amazon's UK website. – Staff Writers
