HURST, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Venuworks has tapped Charlton W. Northington as the new Executive Director at the under-construction Hurst Conference Center in the Dallas suburb of Hurst, TX. Construction of the 51,000 square foot facility is scheduled to be completed in September 2010.
Northington has been in facility management and entertainment industries since 1992. He comes to Hurst from the Reno-Sparks (Nev.) Convention Center, where he was general manager. He is from Lubbock, Texas, and received bachelors and masters degrees from Texas Tech. Northington will commence work on Jan. 4, 2010.

The facility will be an upscale conference center featuring a 14,000 foot ballroom, with divisible areas as small as 900 feet, six meeting rooms totaling 5,700 square feet, and a full-service kitchen.
