(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The former executive director of the Pigeon Forge Entertainment and Convention Center in Tennessee has been named as the new General Manager of the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
David Skinner, who has also worked as director of operations at the Louisiana SuperDome and as GM of New York’s Nassau Coliseum, replaces Rob Henson at the BancorpSouth Center. Henson recently moved to the position of assistant director at Washington’s Tacoma Dome.
“I was born in this business. My father started in this industry back in the ‘50s,” Skinner told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal. “Growing up, my part-time job was at the Charlotte Civic Center selling popcorn and Cokes.”
