NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country artist Tanya Tucker has postponed a handful of tour dates after she injured herself in a fall while on tour.
According to the Associated Press, Tucker fractured a vertebra and injured a rib in the fall while on the road in Texas. Compounding Tucker's woes, she was diagnosed with bronchitis while in the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
Tucker's publicist told the Associated Press that the singer will undergo breathing treatments and physical therapy but will not need surgery.
As a result of her stint in the hospital, Tucker was forced to reschedule a trio of tour dates in Kansas and Oklahoma but says she plans to make it up to fans.
Tucker, who is 58, canceled a spate of tour dates in October after being hospitalized for an upper respiratory infection.
Tucker's hits include Soon and Strong Enough to Bend.
