After 10 years of producing concerts at New York's SummerStage in Central Park, Erica Ruben is no longer with the venue. "Recently the parent organization of SummeStage, City Parks Foundation, hired a new executive director to whom I have historically always reported," says Ruben. "The new director has a different artistic agenda for the company at large, and he has chosen to bring in one of his former colleagues."
Ruben says she will be consulting with a handful of presenters and that she just returned from Morocco where she had the "extraordinary opportunity of dee jaying in the Sahara Desert on New Year's Eve."
