SAN BRUNO, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Streaming video service YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno was the latest scene of gun violence on Tuesday when a woman opened fire on the campus on Tuesday afternoon, injuring multiple people before taking her own life, authorities said.
According to the San Bruno Police Chief, at least four people were reported to have been injured in the shooting and are being transported to local medical facilities.
Brent Andrew, a spokesman for San Francisco General Hospital, said at a news conference that the hospital had received three patients: a 36-year-old man in critical condition, a 32-year-old woman in serious condition and a 27-year-old woman in fair condition. The condition of the fourth victim, and what hospital he or she was at, was not clear.
So far authorities do not believe this was an act of terrorism and appears instead to have been a case of domestic or workplace violence, but the investigation in the case is ongoing.
Footage broadcast by CNN showed a sizeable police presence outside of YouTube’s headquarters, with people leaving the building in single file with their hands raised above their heads. Separate footage showed a large crowd of people lining up to be frisked, one by one, by the police.
This is a developing story and will be updated as relevant information becomes available.
