SEATTLE (CelebrityAccess) — Cuban-American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello was forced to cancel her opening performance on Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” tour in Seattle after she checked herself into the hospital.
Cabello revealed the change in plans via her social media, writing that after the 2018 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, she was “feeling sick” and decided to seek medical attention.
“They ran a lot of tests and everything is fine, but the diagnosis was basically dehydration and I also have a low-grade fever,” she wrote in a post on her Twitter feed.
“The doctors have told me I really have to get rest otherwise I won’t get better,” she added.
She went on to apologize to her fans for missing the show.
“I’m so sorry to let you guys down and I promise I will make it up as soon as I can! I guess sometimes I just push myself too hard and I promise I’m gonna take better care of myself but anyways!!!” she wrote.
Cabello’s next scheduled performance is on May 25th at Sports Authority Field in Denver.
Cabello made a name for herse professionally as one of the members of the female vocal group Fifth Harmony, which formed in 2012 during the second season of the U.S. version of the televised talent show “X Factor.” Now, focusing on her solo career, she’s enjoying the success of her debut solo album “Camila” which was released earlier this year via Epic.
