NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) We recently posted a short happy birthday wish to CAA’s Brian Hill and he was compelled to share with us a great moment from his birthday party. We don’t expect to run a weekly column on Brian Hill’s life but this was too good not to post.
Hill told CelebrityAccess he is a “massive” fan of Sean McConnell. As in, an actual fan. “Have no professional affiliation with him. Just a fan. Never met him,” Hill said.
What he didn’t know is that his wife, Steffany, who was secretly planning Brian’s surprise birthday party, was also working on another surprise. She, too had become a fan of McConnell, “a result of me playing him incessantly in the car and at home.” One of the songs they enjoy is “Shotgun,” a duet between McConnell and Audra Mae. Brian and Steffany sort of consider it the theme song for their marriage.
What Brian didn’t know was that Steffany “asked Sean to perform at my 50th birthday but he was unable to do so.” So Steffany asked if he’d film a duet of him singing the song with her taking on the Audra Mae parts. McConnell agreed.
“They met, they recorded, and Steffany played the video at my birthday as a surprise gift,” Brian said.
And then, apparently, from what Brian says, someone nearby started chopping onions.
Also, that’s a heck of a voice.
