BOSTON (CelebrityAccess) — Boston-based boutique The Kurland Agency announced multiple signings, including musician and singer-songwriter Leo Kottke and Thai-born, Canada-based drummer, Juno nominated producer and composer Salin.
Kottke, who is known for his fingerpicking style that straddles blues, jazz and folk, made his debut in 1968 with ‘Twelve String Blues ‘ and has gone on to win multiple Grammys and collaborations with musicians such as Phish’s Mike Gordon.
At TKA, he will be represented by agent Nick DiSpagna for Europe only.
Salin made her debut in 2021 with the release of ‘Cosmic Island’ which she supported with multiple festival appearances, including a coveted slot at the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
Since then, she’s Salin traveled to Northeastern Thailand to draw inspiration for her next project, a fusion of traditional Thai instruments with Isan music with the rhythm and groove of Soul/ Funk and 70’s West African Afrobeat.
Salin’s next full-length album is due in early 2025 and at TKA, she will be repped by Dan Peraino.
